Sara, with the way TypePad Plus is set up, I don’t think I could actually use a theme, anyway, unless it were just a banner and instructions, lol. But widgets… You mean like I was hinting about the other day? I’d LOVE to see your Ask Me thingie deconstructed to TypePad-friendly code…

@SarahG - thanks for the feedback and I’ll see what I can do to make a white version of the theme! I know you like that kind of feel.

@Sam - Thanks a lot Sam. I wish there was something for Typepad users! Maybe I’ll have to write a typepad widget….any requests?

I think you’ve made the right decision about keeping them for members who have 25+ posts. It’s an added extra, a bonus so to speak, for those members who participate in the forum which subsequently adds to the site as a whole. Anyone who expects something for nothing is only thinking of themselves and not the time and effort you’ve put into making the themes. Even if you add a link back to your site on the bottom of the theme, who’s to say it will be left there?

There are plenty of 100% freebie themes out there, I think your method is perfectly justified and it will restrict the number of uses. Afterall, we don’t all want sites looking the same as thousands of others

My favourite would be the first theme, however a light/white version of that would be cool (I’m not a fan of dark sites).
