Is anyone signing up for Scratchback Beta (http://www.scratchback.com/)

from the site

ScratchBack is an online "tipping" system. It allows you, the publisher, to accept tips and "give back" links or images in return (all links are nofollow). You name your price on your tips, and you earn money from every interaction through our easy-to-use automated system. It's free to sign-up (http://www.scratchback.com/register.php), and you can have a TopSpot widget on your website or blog in minutes. It looks kind of interesting and the creator of the site is a pretty sharp guy. You can read more about the program: ScratchBack - The Fun, Alternative Way To Making Money Online (http://www.scratchback.com/faq.php)

I had never heard of it until now. I will give it a look but the top link you posted to it is messed up, it has the URL twice. :)

Thanks for the link :)

I will keep this for a later date once I have enough traffic etc for people to actually want to advertise with my site. Looks interesting though.

I've never heard of it either. Have you seen any good/bad reviews on it, Sara?

Not yet I haven't. I have seen plenty of the creators previous projects though which attracted me to this one. He's a really good marketing guy:

The good: manual approval and lack of an affiliate program.

The bad: The FAQ doesn't specify (as far as I could see) how much ScratchBack's commission is, and the "Show some love, buy one!" bit on the widget conflicts just a tad with the whole "no refunds, because you're tipping, not buying" philosophy.

Sounds interesting, but those two "bad"s bug me a bit.

Hey there, Jim Kukral here, owner of SB.

I'm going to have my team change the verbiage on the widgets from "buy" to "tip". Good idea.
