According to your stats, I posted the 1,000th thread last night...woot. Do your forums have an auto-purge system? If so, how long until threads are deleted?

Nope, I don't want to purge any threads for the foreseeable future. and great job on the 1000th thread!
I'd rather keep all of the content here and just update or start new threads where appropriate rather than deleting it. It's part of the history :)

Woot! Thank you for that then. I know a lot of forums purge after 30 or 90 days and it's frustrating when something comes up a few months later and I'm like "oh yeah, that was posted about there," but then can't find the thread to refer to. I agree that it's a good idea to keep everything in tact, assuming that you have the space for it. :)

I don't like places that purge threads just for that reason, so many repeat posts and replies that make a place feel ... cluttered? Not sure of the right word.
