Google PR Updated Possibly

I'm not sure when, but my PR's coming up as PR2 now within the last 24 hours (to the best of my knowledge, since I haven't been fawning over it), from a PR3 for the last six months. Strange, since both Alexa and Google/Yahoo search strings have been REALLY good to me.

I don't want to be the one to start rumor, so I confirmed this using an 'Advert' site's site as well as my own checks online and the change showing up in my FF LivePR add on/plug.

Anyone else seeing a change?

I am not noticing anything John, unless everything is staying the same for me. I think everyone is ready for this to be over with!

Yep, I did some quick (http://homelessfamily.blogspot.com/2007/10/check-your-stats-google-pr-ranks-are-in.html) searching using Google Blog Search.

:) I get excited sometimes, but it DOES look like the monetizers and advertisers are getting hit on the new count/system/"Jagger". I got links I found on my linked post.

mine are not updated. if the update was over, that means mine didnt move. :(

I've noticed numerous sites in my niche get downgraded from a 5 to a 4 over the past few weeks, but I haven't seen any increases. I think these are manual adjustments from selling text links or something rather than a true toolbar PR update.

I'd agree to that. Seems like it's only the link selling sites that are getting affected.

does Google up date the PR in a fix date..?

my PR increase from 0 to 1 at middle of august, but my friend's blog decrease PR5 to 4 in last 2 week time...

so google update the ranking any time? without a time period?

i heard people said google update it once every 3 to 4 month...

It's meant to be around every 3 months, however recently it seems like Google is targeting just certain sites. From what I've read some of Asia has had a bit of an update and a lot of sites selling paid links have had an update.

The only movement I've seen on mine was going from a greyed out bar to a white bar back in July/August time. Considering my old domain had PR4 then I can't see it not transferring at least something more than nothing over.

This is strange. Originally, my HFB blog went from 3 to 2. Just today; since removing just my PPP 'Hire Me' badge on my header; it's now gone to a PR4.

This was the only thing I did in changing my content.

Also my other sites; except 'Life Onwards' which is too new for PR; all went up to a PR3 from a PR0 in the last 24 hours. FYI guys. :)
