Well you don't have to make money. But if you have a website, blog or not, and it has traffic, you can turn it into money.

Many make money with their blogs with Adsense or selling ad space through Adbrite or other programs.

If you are fortunate, using your blog entries as writing samples can lead to gigs paying $1.00 per word and more, which is probably the best way to make money from a blog!

i gotta blog n it arranges money for me to go to restricted areas n have fun.....so why not to make money from blog?
