Auctionads was only making me a whopping 2.5 cents after a month and xxx clicks, so I decided to give widgetbucks a shot and I am very very happy so far as I started on October 2 and as of October 4 I have made 33 dollars.

As you can see from the stats I posted on digitalorder, I dont have the greatest ctr due to the non specific nature of my traffic but if you run a blog related to tech, clothing or any product orriented subject I'd recommend trying it out for a week.

P.S. they do have a good referall program so if youd like to sign up under me, I can PM you my referall link other wise click here (http://widgetbucks.com)

Update:Stats from Oct 5 just got posted and 61 clicks has made me 27 bucks, thats a better rpc than adsense.

Wow, they just changed how they payout when I wrote my post it was
"They send out checks or paypal the first of every month for all revenue earned during the previous month, as long as you’ve earned a minimum of $50."
now its
"We send out checks for all revenue earned within 45 days after the end of each month, as long as you've earned a minimum of $50"
Thats B.S.

That's pretty excessive - even Google pays faster than that (though granted the payout is higher). How are you doing in terms of cost per click?

It's understandable. Google pays out up to 36 days after the end of each month of earnings (usually no later than the 5th). I don't know if advertisers pay up front with WidgetBucks but with Google you're charged at the end of the month. So as a publisher you may make money during September say, an advertiser won't be charged until October and then they have time to pay, then Google processes it all and then pays. I'm sure the same goes for WB.

It would be a daft move to pay out before getting the advertiser payment in. As annoying as it is to a publisher, you have to appreciate it's simple business.

If this was true Id be fine with the long wait but I doubt it since they initially were planning to payout at the first of the month.

@reviewer: Its been very consistent at .45 plus or minus .02. Which is about 2x the rpc of adsense and I still have adsense so I'll be very happy if they eventually payout.

Maybe they didn't factor the payment period in? Maybe they made a mistake on their initial ts and cs. The only way to find out would be to look at being an advertiser and see whether they pay up front or not.

in truth it doesn't matter to me cause the payouts worth waiting 45 days and ttz media the program that I display if the user doesnt have flash paysout about 30+ days out also so its not really an exorbant wait , I was just a little peeved that they changed the payment period without a single mention.

I wish you the best! And I hope they actually pay you on time and as much as you actually earned! This seems to me like too much money, but I'm no expert!

kingjacob, it reminds me of when google brought out referrals and then didn't mention the addition of a 90 day limit for the referred to earn their $100 for you to get your referral earning.

I'm still waiting for my first click on WB though :(
