View Full Version : How do I grow my reader base without content posts?

One of my main sites right now is a design inspiration site. I know, I know, there are so many but my site has been around for over 8 months now and is getting great traffic from my advertising.

However, I want to grow a larger reader base and want my feed subscribers to rise.

I just recently re-designed my site and added the feedburner counter in plain view, etc so I am hoping that helps people find my feed.

So, what I was thinking was:

1) Pay for a sponsored review on a very respectable blog that caters to designers and web developers. (Can be very expensive [$xxx-xxxx])

2) Create a blog that has content that feeds and is connected to my inspiration gallery. (Not as expensive but very time consuming)

Are they both good ideas? Do you have anymore advice for me?

Thanks in advance.
