What is your opinion on Wordpress?

I hope I've put this in the right place. :) I'm new to blogging, but have heard good things about WordPress. What do you all think of it?

It is a great platform to start on if you are new to the blogging scene. Easy to use, easy to customize, and plenty of plugins and support. There are a lot of platforms that all accomplish the same tasks, but for most people, you can't go wrong with it.

I've used WordPress for over 2 years and it's just got better as time goes on. I have 4 blogs running on it, and over 10 client sites powered by it. It's extremely flexible and extendible.

I'm with the folks above. I've used Wordpress for a couple of years now and couldn't be happier about it. There are other platforms out there with plenty of happy users, but yeah, I think wordpress has a gerat community of support, great themes available as well as so many plugins!

What can i say, WordPress in da bomb, i use it to power up almost every single site i own, with the proper theme and plugins you can do almost anything with WordPress.

before, there was a craze for mambo. now its wordpress!

updates can be a b*tch though. (with plugin compatibility issues)

I have one blog on Wordpress and another on Blogger. Wordpress is easy to use but it would be nice i you could embed widgets without having to host the blog on your own site.
