Editing your own posts

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have removed the ability to edit your posts after 5 days of you writing them. If you need them edited after that time for a legitimate reason, feel free to PM me and I would be happy to.

The reason for this is that a user edited a lot of their old posts (to include threads they started) which just makes the threads very disjointed and really rather pointless for current and future users. If you have any question about that, please let me know!

That was a very clever idea. I don't think I've ever needed to edit a forum post after that length of time, so it won't interfere with normal users at all. :)

Yeah I figured 5 days would be a good amount of time to prevent any mistakes or update your original post. If for whatever reason it isn't, I have no problem doing it for you.
