If you use the "More" break tag, what text do you display?
"More"
etc.

I don't use it but if I did, I would use something like "Continue Reading" rather than just "More".

Yeah, I usually don't use it, but I would prefer "Continue Reading" as well.

how do change the text in wordpress?
Depends on which method you're using (http://www.problogdesign.com/how-to/the-2-methods-of-showing-excerpts/) (Both are explained in there :) ).

how do change the text in wordpress?
Also if you want to add in your post title you can use
<?php the_content("Continue reading " . the_title('', '', false)); ?>
Personally I tend not to use more tags and haven't a clue what it says although if I used it often then I'd use the code above.

thanks guys, i will try it now!
Strange how nobody ever mentions the third method. I use the more tag regularly and change the text for ever post.
<!--more text I want to display goes here-->
Notice there are no spaces after the <!-- or before the --> I think this is important although I can't remember off the top of my head.

Mine says, "Click here to read the rest of this entry"
hmm, kinda long. :p

I've used it, but due to platform problems always went with the standardized 'Read More'. Since going Wordpress I don't have a need as much, like I would/do using Mambo with a primary story, and a 2x2 prior entry layout grid.

I would prefer "Continue reading" to any of the other options. I'm not a big fan of those types of blogs where you have to click somewhere to continue reading, but it doesn't really bother me too much.

I use continue reading (the phrase easily catches the readers attention)
