Editing pictures

I'm curious to know what everyone uses for image editing for their blogs. I use Fireworks usually.

Fireworks, I get on so much better with Fireworks than Photoshop or Illustrator.

Photoshop most of the time. Every now and then I will use Fireworks or Illustrator but a lot of the time, it's just easier for me to get the results in Photoshop. Especially with some of the new features in CS3.

Well I'm an oddball. I use Xara Xtreme Pro for everything. Found it about four years ago and fell in love with it. I've used it ever since.

I've been a Paint Shop Pro fan for years, so I still use it quite often. I also use MS Digital Image because there are a few things it'll do easier - like cropping an image without losing the overall proportions.

Depends what I need to do. If it's simply resizing or cropping a picture I'll use Irfanview. I have Photoshop for advanced editing but rarely open it.

I use Photofiltre and Adobe ImageReady which I hear is discontinued. I got it for free from Limewire somehow.I've tried out GIMP but even though it's the 'free Photoshop' I don't like it that much.

I'm actually quite surprised by the amount of people using Fireworks. If I was to guess before reading this, I would have given a vote that most people would use Photoshop.

lol - As much as I love Paint, the free Paint.NET (http://www.getpaint.net/) upgrade is an improvement. :rockon:
