Trying to get a pic in the sidebar. Just comes up with the path. See http://helpfulhands.ca
What am I doing wrong. I pasted the path in the text widget.

you need to remove 3 of the forward slashes in each source link after the domain name.

Your site views fine now. If you look at my previous reply you will see that I've copied the HTML code from your sidebar showing that you are trying to link to the image files using URLs such as

http://helpfulhands.ca////wp-content/uploads/2007/08/toby1.jpg

Which is an incorrect URL has you have 4 forward slashes after the domain name and before the directory wp-content. You need to reduce this to just 1 forward slash.

Thanks for looking. The sidebar image does not show up. only the path. It's not related to the dog.

So help me out. I have an image that I want to put in the sidebar. I copied the path to a text widget. I tried <p></p>tags around the path. What do I need to do to get this image in the sidebar below Artistry By______. http://helpfulhands.ca

Hi Kim- Why not upload the image to your gallery then copy the path to the image.


Click presentation.
Theme Editor
Then Choose Sidebar
Then include the image tag wherever you want the image to appear in your sidebar.

You may need to resize the image.
