Here we are again, with another design. Meaning some time spent designing this one that could have been spent coding my own. Anyway, here it is. I am unsure on this one but I plan on selling it so feedback is always appreciated!

I really like how that looks. Does the template have the ability to change the side icons per post? That would be really cool.

It doesn't at the moment as it's only in PSD format. I don't have experience yet to make this an actual theme, I'm just planning on selling the PSD.

I guess it could be coded for several different CMS applications. That would be entirely up to the coder :)

i think there should be a shade or at least something that seperates the main column with the side column.

i also think the column headers / sections could be seperated in a more distinct way. :)

and how do you plan the background to be?

I may add a different background color to the sidebar. Not thought much about the background, do you think it is missing something or needs changing color wise?

The present design looks a little girly with the flowers but then, I'm a girl and I like flowers. :D I like the old one better (I prefer lighter to darker), but then I'm old myself.

Dave, If this is for your own blog I would go with the one I prefered on sitepoint. I like this design, but it's not you.

This design is a very clean open one which would be great to release as a Wordpress template, but for you as a designer it says nothing above 'welcome to a web2.0-design'. I think you've done better, and for your own site I strongly recomend the other one.

It's not for my own site, it's going to be released as a wordpress theme :)
