Have you ever thought about putting a copyright notice at the bottom of your posts to help stop the feed-leechers that steal content?
There is a wordpress plugin (WordPress Plugin to Automatically add Copyright Message to your RSS / ATOM Feeds - Angsumans Feed Copyrighter Plugin (http://blog.taragana.com/index.php/archive/wordpress-plugin-to-automatically-add-copyright-message-to-your-rss-atom-feeds/)) but I would think if you have access to your code, it would be relatively easy to add the message to your posts.

I've been thinking about doing it more and more. I see my content appear in the odd site trying to aggregate my data. If it doesn't curb the pseudo-aggregators from grabbing my content, at the very least, I can get the added link back.

yeah thats what i'm thinking it would be pretty easy to do. but i think theres pretty much a plugin for everything now ! there's probably a plugin for taking feeds from other blogs and putting them into your own... !
the gov is now working on online submission for copyright. i know that its 'automatically' copyrighted already, but if i ever put anything 'big' on my sites i will probably do that.

I don't think a notice stops anyone. Those who would steal, will steal.
Given that, I use Creative Commons, which allows use under most circumstances.
I did find an unattributed photo, just today -- but a note solved the problem immediately. Just someone who didn't know how to do it right.
