AVG has it healed/quarantined. Stupid questions: If I remove it from the virus vault, will it be deleted or set loose on my computer? Also, can I delete the file it was found in?

Sorry, but I really have no clue how this stuff works. I didn't need to know it back in Mac land.

I can't tell you what's the right thing to do, but yeah, I delete them!

Yes, when you select to remove the file from the vault it is deleted. This deletes the file that the virus was found in too. It won't delete a containing folder or anything though.

At least from my experience so far with AVG, I'm sure that's how it works.
