Have you ever deleted your post and what was the reason of such action?

Yes. Right now I am moving a bunch of stuff from one blog to another, changing the focus of Older-Space to just freelance writing and business tips (Since that's where I was getting the most readers). As I move the other things, I'm deleting them. I also deleted one other post. It had no comments and I didn't like it... so I deleted it.

Pay Per Post..basically you are paid to write a review on a product or service. You don't have to favorable in your review; you just have to review it.

instead of deleting them, why not recycle them and update them and in the old post put a link to the updated post?

I've thought about it. When I started my blog, the post quality wasn't exactly up to snuff.
I did once because it was about someone who asked me to remove it. I was really pissed about it. It was a nice post and it didn't identify him in any way, but he asked me to take it down. I wasn't actually going too, but he threatened me and it didn't seem worth the hassle in the end.

I had a similar situation but in my case I wasn't that nice-- I had unintentionally reamed someone who was a friend of a friend I'd done some work for. What a mess.
She didn't ask me to delete the post but I said I would so that relations might be smoothed over.
I aplogised, deleted and apologised again.I thought we were good but she hasn't contacted me again. At least it was pro bono work.
Sometimes I just don't think before I write.

I once deleted one post. It was the only one (and I think the last one) I`ve ever deleted. I broke my own rules and blogged about something way to private/personal and the person the post was about wasn`t very lucky about the fact that I wrote about our private things in public :-( so I took it down again (she has been completely right probably).

What's the rule on this? Are you allowed to delete them if you've been paid?
