I do podcast and my latest podcast with CSS Guru Eric Meyer (http://www.search-this.com/2007/09/03/random-bits-podcast-with-eric-meyer/) is up! My podcast equipment is pretty basic. A telephone :)

I don't podcast, but if I did, I would probably be using something similar to that as my online audio shop stocks the above model as well as a few others :)

this is usb, theres another firewire version.
its pretty affordable i must say. but if i were to buy it, i might get shocked with its shipping fee. Yikes.
For now, i shall use a cheap 5bux mic. har har har.

I have never done a podcast, but I want to. I just not sure who to do it with or what we would discuss. :)
Sara, the Eric Meyer, AustisticCuckoo was great. :)

Glad you liked it Ben! I thought I was a nerd but between Tommy and Eric I was like... what are you people talking about! I was there to bring it down for people like me, although you probably really understood it all!

Well I'm a little late to this post, but I use GarageBand and the built in mic on my MBP for podcasts I do alone. For interviews, I use talkshoe.com. It's free, your show can be live, and they pay you!! I love it. It also gets my show some free exposure.
