How many times do you proofread each post?

On my personal blog, I usually don't, which is bad I know. I am amazed when someone contacts me through my personal blog and offers me a job or wants to network somehow. I think....Have you read my blog? Are you sure you're contacting the right person?

On the blogs where I am writing serious content, I usually proofread it once...MAYBE twice if there were a ton of errors. What about you?

I tend to read it once it's published. Bad method I know, but I only usually have the odd blip. Isn't there meant to be a spell checker in the next version of WP? Providing it covers more than US english of course ;)

I proofread over and over and over, again. But I still don't catch all of my errors.

I'm quite conscientious of what I write, as I write it, so I spot most of my actual errors then.

I then read over it once to all formatting, and once or twice more to improve the wording (Depends on the post. Sometimes you just know you've nailed it and are ready to publish asap. :D )

This is what I do too, and it has burned me on occasion. I am horrible at proofreading. I have a built in spell checker, but that doesn't do anything for poor grammar or otherwise dumb mistakes. I usually make the post go live and then read it on the site, but by the time I catch anything it is already being picked up in the feeds.

I'm with SarahG and Jeremy. I tend to proof read after the fact which is a nasty habit.

I use FF's spell checker, but as Jeremy mentioned that does nothing for my bad grammar. :)

If you read after you've published, then don't the errors get sent out in your RSS feed anyway?

I know you can ping feedburner etc. but stil... xD
