Mine happens to be getting to involved in the technical end of things and not enough on the actual writing of the blog. I even wrote about it (http://just-thinkin.net/2007/08/my-biggest-blogging-fault/) in hopes that getting it out in the open might help me some.

But I doubt it? :p

Knowing your worst trait when it comes to your blogging effort is important if only that your aware of it in the first place. Like me, you might be able to catch yourself before you get in too deep so to speak.

Anyone else know what their worst blogging fault is?

Oh i have so many...procrastination, too many ideas, playing behind the scenes (like you Kirk), and after i get some sleep I'm sure i can list some more things!

Oh, this one's easy! Angry and/or whiny posts. I'm all too prone to both.

Same with me I suppose. I can spend too much time reading about blogging, looking at advertising networks, plugins etc. that I'd probably never even use.

Then come midnight I realise I haven't got a post written for tomorrow yet... :(

I have this wish that someday soon I'll be able to devote myself to blogging full time. Being a disabled vet, it may be a distinct possibility and then I could discover all of my blogging faults that I haven't been able to find as yet. Then I could write up more posts about them. :)

Hey Michael,

Then come midnight I realize I haven't got a post written for tomorrow yet...

Been there...done that! ;)

I really don't know. I've been thinking on this for ages and I can't come up with my worst fault. Not to say I don't have any.

Hey Michael,

Been there...done that! ;)

lol - Sleep is overrated, isn't it? XD

Hawk - Well, you're free to list them all if you want. It's always a good confidence boost to list every single thing you don't like about yourself... :naughty:

Procrastination and brain dead...sounds like me on a good day.

And Michael...I don't sleep any more...I just pass out.

Everytime I go to write a post, I seem to find a dozen other improvements I could make "behind the scenes"... and there goes the time!

My fault is running 3 different blogs (well 4 if you count the one I rarely post on) and not devoting my time equalling among them. Or alternatively having bursts of posting so all 3 get a new post one day and none for the next few days.

I know I could schedule them but once it's written I like people to get to read it!
