So you want to know a bit about me?
Old, irascible, politically incorrect, a bit senile sometimes, juvenile at other times.
I live up the mountains in Ireland and started a blog a few months ago, just to see what blogging is all about.
It's a weird place, this blogospherical.

Hi Grandad! Welcome to the madhouse :)
How did you come across this site?

I like madhouses. It comes of spending a lot of time in them. And thank you for your welcome.
I saw this place mentioned on a blog somewhere, but the memory being what it is, I forget which one. If I come across it again, I'll mention it.

Oh I read your about page where you say you can get away with forgetting things because of your age...so says you :D

Thank you Vertexity.
Incidentally, as a Test Subject, am I liable to be dissected [don't like that], injected [could be OK] or fed with loads of drugs [Hmmmmm!]? I'd like to know in advance please..

Thanks everyone. It's nice to feel welcome somewhere!
Armchaircritic - I can see your house from here :)
Jelena - You find my blog interesting? Are you a psychiatrist?
GnomeyNewt - Political Incorrectness is my middle name [or names?]. I'm not sure what the others are.

Welcome to the madhouse
Ahem, that's my line. I even have the avatar to go with it.
Anyway, welcome to the madhouse, Grandad. Check your sanity at the door, don't drink Sara's finest Belgian lager without her permission, and watch out for Simpsonized avatars. I think they may be undead zombies that have eaten their owners brains.

Thanks Dan.
I only drink Guinness so I'm safe there. As for the zombies - I've been married for thirty years so I should be all right.

Now that I've joined, I suddenly find I don't have time to go browsing Fora.
Life sucks!
I even missed out on Bloggers' Day
