I don't do much with technorati besides claiming my blog and pinging it. Can anyone explain to me what I should be doing?

Not much 'to do' - it simply shows who links to you. I don't know why people don't covet it as much as they do PageRank. I know I do. PageRank is so last season... it's all about the techScore these days :)

Are you using Technorati tags on your posts? I get a bit of traffic through those tags.

Yeah I like Technorati even though my authority has been stuck on 25 for like three weeks even though I've gained links. :mad:

EDIT: Okay, not mad now. I'm up to 31. :)

I'd like to get some Page Rank too!

Are you using Technorati tags on your posts? I get a bit of traffic through those tags.

How do you use Technorati tags on posts? Not familiar with that.

Well, in TypePad, you just click the "Use Technorati tags" button...

I don't know jack about WordPress, but there are a couple of plugins here (http://codex.wordpress.org/Plugins/Technorati) that might be useful. And then there's the Technorati tag help page (http://www.technorati.com/help/tags.html).

Sorry. I just don't know much beyond the scope of what I use.
