Alright...redesigned!

I have been wanting to redesigned my blog for sometime now and i finally got to do it today.

I really like it, nice color scheme and it is quite unique. The only thing I would alter slightly are the ads on the right side. They seem a little crowded and make the top of the page look a little busy.

Nice design. Some changes I would make. Your RSS feeds button blends in too much. I'd maybe make it the green of your background color. The alt text "feeds" also appears in the upper left corner of the feeds button in FF. Takes away from the pro presentation I think you're looking for.

You smiley has a gray border. Just a bug?

I"d lose the calendar. From another thread here, I gather most people never use them. I guess the consensus is that nobody much cares when you posted something as what you posted.

You are missing one very important forum in your forums listing.

What is the rationale behind the ping and trackback thing? I really don't like having to scroll that far to find the comment form.

Yeah on the very top line in the Forums section, next to Wordpress Support.

Oh I see now. I guess I'm not fond of the way the list is done there. I tend to read a list straight down, thinking that dividers are subsections of the first item.
I think it would be better presented if the first item was the category.

I too would read a list in that way. Proven by the fact that I didn't spot the link there either until you pointed it out and I went to check for it. Guess that proves that the current way may not be the best.

Yea, i'm testing it as originally it was meant to hold 3 125x125 ads buttons as i most probably won't be using adsense on this blog.

Basically i wanted t seperate tackbacks/pings from proper comments left by readers, but i get what you mean.

Yes, some bugs with images but will fix it soon.

I always have a problem with websites that are not optimized for all screen resolutions, but aside from that I like the theme accept for the placement on the about section.

I sure like the looks now but I'm not too fond of that pop-up plugin. Seems a bit overdone. It's great in the top nav, but I don't think I'd keep it in the other areas... especially the tags

I think your color scheme is superb, everything is easy to read, and easy on the eyes. it's basic and not too flashy or distracting. Theres a major focus on the content which is paramount obviously. The bottom part is well-done. Whole thing loads smooth, the longest delay I get (slightly) when looking through the net inspect in firebug is your RSS area, but definitely nothing to be concerned about.

All-in all I can't find anything wrong with it that really would hold it back from being a top-notch site. Great job!

I'm glad you got rid of that pop-up thingy. The site look great except for your alt text displays over your rss image (upper left)
