Critique on design, please.

I'm looking for a critique of the layout I've designed for my blog, College Buzz Online. This is just a .png and I've added sample text to help give you a better idea of how it will look.

Goals: My goal is to provide college students with tips and advice to help make college a bit easier for them.
Design Goals: I wanted something bright, clean, and something that would appeal to the 17-25 year old crowd.
Audience: College students (17-25)

So far I really like it Christina. The colors are great (although I am very partial to that color combination :D) and I love how the body kind of overlaps the header.

I too love the design, and the colors do the design justice. It's nice and clean, looks simple enough to use - job done :)

Very nice design! One thing that I personally would change. I think placing the logo inside of the blue gradient background at the top that is 100% width would look good and that would allow you to remove the white background which overlaps the blue gradient background now and just let the content start below the green background below the blue gradient.

It looks great as is, but that is just one thing I think I would change if it were my design. Good luck. :)

nice design, just take note on the colors like

1. light green on white background
2. the yellowish block-quote and it's text.

probably you might wanna work on the main navigation, where you have black text on green background.
