I recently made a post about how to show more of your personality in your blog (http://www.theblogexperiment.com/blog/2007/08/08/lets-get-personal/).

Well, today I read a post on Sam's blog where she actually hand-wrote an entry (http://samwoodfin.typepad.com/blog/2007/08/i-hope-you-can-.html). I thought this was a really neat idea. I know it's not for every blog out there but it is definitely pretty cool. I couldn't get away with it though b/c my handwriting is terrible.

Awwwww. Neat idea but I can't understand her handwriting though. hah.
And I wish my scanner is not broken.

I could read her the letter ok; her handwriting seems fancy to me!

 @ you people who can't read my delicate penmanship!

And, no, I'm not offended. I'm only using the "mad" smiley because Sara needs to add more smileys. I wanted to use the "tongue-sticky-outie" one, but it just looked too damned happy, and I'm in nicotine withdrawal. I have more than 11 reactions, ya know? Several of them chemically-based...

Thanks for the link, Sara. Now come on, pony up! I want to see your scrawl!

I wouldn't do this on my blog, mainly for the following:

My handwriting is pretty much the same as type - I write in block capitals.
A screen reader couldn't read the entry - I would have to provide type as well.
The article couldn't be printed out, unless the picture was just printed.

I don't think it adds much of a personal touch besides revealing your handwriting style. The personality of a blogger comes through in the content and the way in which is it written (content wise, not literally).
