Last night i was making my weekend wrapup blog post and I posted it without giving it a title. Just brilliant I know.
Have you done anything stupid like that?

I've forgotten to title a post a time or two. And forgotten to proofread the title, even though every post gets proofed five or six times. But my biggest mistakes have to do with blogging while angry. Those are a little harder to fix than title problems and typos.

Blogging angry is definitely my number one most made mistake. I've forgotten a title maybe once or twice, and once I had a typo in my title. I've been fortunate enough so far as to not make so many mistakes.

Blogging while tired and/or under the influence (read: drunk). I've done a couple of posts that I go back, read, and say to myself, "What was I thinking? Oh, yeah. I wasn't thinking at all!"

well, maybe it's the content of the post. in my case, i have to know the title / topic before i come up with a post.

If there is a mistake to be made I have made it at some time or anotehr. :)
Though I agree spelling mistakes in titles (urls) and making posts that we're probably better kept to myself. :o

Nothing stupid yet as far as leaving a title field blank, but stupid as far as my publishing goes. I usually spend way to much time on the design rather than just get the site live and go with it, tweaking as I go. Random Jabber went through about 4 design changes before launch. It really is counter productive to do that.
I guess it's just the designer in me. I have to get it perfect in my mind even though no one else will notice the little inconsistencies.

Biggest mistake I made was not switching to wordpress sooner...

I know what you mean Deron. It wasn't the perfect design, i just wanted to launch this forum with all of the other pieces in place. I just never had time to sit down and code it all so fast forward 6 months and i decide to just launch the forum and release the other aspects as they get completed.

My biggest mistake was not backing up my template files before making some major changes to them structurally. If it can go wrong then it probably will, so back up your website ;)

In my lifetime? You just don't have enough space for them all!
Oh.... blogging!!! :D
Just the other day I updated WP with the old files instead of the new. Drat! What a waste of time that was!!!!
