I've been doing things a little backwards here but we finally have a home page! The sidebars aren't full of content yet because other aspects of the site that are still under development will go there.

Is the "featured site" area just going to be sites from owners in the forum?

The featured site will be member's blogs. Jeremy just posts like an owner! Once the directory is done, everything will be automated where I just select one from the directory! But until then, I will manually change it each week. The idea is to give members of the community some more value to their membership and hopefully more exposure. The site is still less than a month old, but is already heavily indexed and is starting to get some hits from the SEs so hopefully over the next few months, that featured Blog will give even MORE exposure!

Nice! I really like the idea. Should definitely help out the blogs of the members of this community and will give everyone more incentive to participate.

Oh wait, I was just the guinea pig and from here on out all the featured blogs will get more traffic. I see how it is :p
