How many of you were tired of seeing this message?
Please click one of the Quick Reply icons in the posts above to activate Quick Reply.
Well, be tired no longer! I have done my first bit of vB hacking ever. being required to click drove me crazy :mad:

Doesn't work for me. I can type a message in it but I can't submit my post until I press one of the quick reply buttons.

Yeah, I thought it was fixed too but when you go to submit, still gives you the message ...
Keep workin at it, you'll figure it out ;)

Yes...and this problem is a tough one to search for. I keep finding people asking how to enable quick reply (which is to click one of the buttons).
There is a variable that is passed when the php sets up the quick reply called "requires_click" and when setting it to 0, it enables the checkbox....but it doesn't remove the JS check once you click it...

The "Go Advanced" button doesn't work still, you have to still click a button.

I was just going to start a thread asking if this coul be fixed, last post I made I was having the issue stymiee mentioned, let's see what happens now. :)

You might need to try a hard refresh. The go advanced button works for me too.

Hm.. I can enter reply in quick reply, but I get js alert saying "Please click one of the quick reply icons in posts above..."
