I would like to request a review for my webmaster blog (http://www.wtricks.com/webmaster-blog). What should I install to make it better? What should I change ...

Thank you in advance for any tips ;)

The first thing I would do is maybe restyle the title of your posts. Right now I thought the title was a link off the page to something unrelated.

I would also move the subscribe link up to the top of the blog so people can see it right away. Otherwise i think it looks fine :)

Looks good! I would have to recommend the same. This is a personal preference but instead of using the built in RSS from WP, I generally switch it over to Feedburner :). Just a thought.

I think with the feedburner replacement plugin, even if it looks like the default wordpress, it ultimately resolves to feedburner. I don't know if she has that installed though.

Like Sara, I would move your subscribe up. I do like your titles though. They break up the visual and I could tell they were the headings of the next post.

I usually expect sidebar on the right. Probably because most bloggers do that way.

I clicked on You comment I follow thingy, but it gave me 404 page. What's that anyway? I've seen that today on one more blog, but I'm not sure what it is all about?

I like the sidebar on the left. It's something different but it's not too different to throw me off.

it was a messed url. It's a post about you comment I follow. Please click again, it's working OK now ...

<meta name=“ROBOTS” content=“noindex,follow”>
and then
<meta name="ROBOTS" content="INDEX" />
I'm no expert here. Just an observation.

sidebar on the left is perfectly fine. most websites, (corporate or personal) have links / nav bar on the left. in fact almost all.

just that when blogs were introduced, somehow the links were on the right, probably because for blogs the contents were more important than the links. :)

either way it works. :D

btw - here's a webmaster tip & trick for you : please summarize your posts. it's not nice to have to load your top 5 posts and having to scroll through sooooo much content just to know the topics available.

i scrolled through first then whoops. stop. there's the next topic. then on and on. :) have a summary. it's friendlier on reader as you respect their time and choice instead of shoving all your recent content at them.

Is there a plugin that does this? Or a setting? Am still new to this WP thing ;)

Thank you for the comments ... hope I can solve this summary thing too

i use the MORE thing to make my posts into either excerpts or just nothing at all. makes the page loaded shorter. :)

Unless you dont want search engines, technorati or anyone to index your blog id go to options>privacy and click the top one.

I removed that from the template file. Don't know where to find that privacy thing though :(
