Webmaster Tools

Deron mentioned webmaster tools (http://www.theblogexperiment.com/blog-forum/) and i'm curious to know how many people use them. I used them for all of my sites. I wonder if that's just because I do this for a living.

Webmaster tools can give you a lot of information about your site and I would recommend if you CAN use them but aren't, do so:

I use them. I like their crawl stats that show you both where you are indexed for certain terms and what your visitors click on.

I also use Google Analytics. It's a pretty good stats package IMO and it gives me a basis for comparison with the stats package on my hosting acct.

Yeah I use Analytics also.

I have PMetrics istalled also. I like the live stats.

I use them. I also try to set up all of my clients with webmaster tools, but that can be hit or miss depending on the client and whether or not we have a retainer in place.

I prefered the old version of GA. It worked better for me.
