I have noticed a slight decrease but nothing significant. Although I don't really making anything from them to be able to really monetarily have an impact. Have you noticed a decrease in traffic?

Hasn't decreased as much as the rate of growth has slowed down. Summer is usually a bit lighter for sites with a primary audience in the US/UK. I can't wait until about October when things start to pick back up.
Decreased in almost all my sites. Can't wait for autumn :D

I have noticed the usual summer slow down, but nothing too major. Just the usual

I started my blog over the summer so I can't say for sure, but if it follows traffic trends similar to e-commerce, then I really can't wait for fall/winter to hit ;).

In my country there's no summer (how sad), but usually during weekends the traffic went down. I wonder what's the rationale behind it, people don't surf blogs during weekends? LOL

Weekends its a lot slower for me too. I think most people surf blogs/forums during the work day.

Can't speak to summer; I just started this blog in June.
But weekends? Yup. Weekends suck here, too.

My weekends suck, too. Sunday is the worse day!
I can't say anything about summer. my traffic is too little to be able to make a conclusion.

hehe. don't be surprised that long holidays like Christmas / New Year, CNY and Hari Raya will result in traffic drop. :D

I actually planned for the slowdown. August is a drag and Sept is reboot time.

I started my blogs in the summer, too, so maybe I can blame things being slow on that and not on me being an incompetent blogger. :)
Now we'll just have to wait and see what happens in the fall...

Actually I don't really mind about traffic being decreased because my traffic is not always that high anyway~ It's just I'm curious why people don't surf blogs on weekends. ;P

Cedric, weekend is when people rest or go for an outing. :)
Weekday is when people are bored in the office and start to browse around.

yeah, some people have to do mundane tasks off the computer on weekends, like mow the damn lawn, take the dog to the vet, visit annoying relatives or attend weddings. It sucks, I'd much rather sit on the computer and waste away :D

Jeremy! High 5! I don't think my blog will interests adults because I usually speak my view from the teenagers' point of views so for God's sake young people. COME TO MY BLOG!!! LOL Signs of being desperate.

Cedric, you may want to consider getting a MySpace page and marketing your blog there.

Great idea Sara, but I have one concern, I have no friends adding me in Myspace, most of my local friends use Friendster, and they are not interested in my blogs. (OUCH!).

I know as a person that spends alot of time on the internet doing various things I tend to not be on the internet quite a bit less in the summer. I think that is normal though for a lot of people.

Wow! The forum slows down on weekends, too...
Jeremy

Yeah, things like mowing the lawn, taking the dog to the vet, cleaning the garage and guitar hero tend to keep people away from the computer on weekends :(

Guitar Hero? :D
Jeremy

Yeah, the only reason I'm online now is because I'm so frustrated with psychobilly freakout on expert that I punched my couch about 50 times and had to turn the xbox off to collect myself.

Summer usually slows down for me too. Come the end of this month and next, when kids are back in school and summer holidays are over, things will start stirring up again -- especially with the winter holidays approaching!

Maybe a "Blame Jeremy" thread is in order?

Overall, my traffic has increased slightly, but then I had a problem with my host on Friday and the site was not accessible for over a day, so my stats tanked hard this weekend. So depressing...
