What is your goal for the blog. At first glance, the blog was okay..not stellar but nothing jumped out at me as bad. I think the concept seems pretty good and it's not one I've stumbled across before so I'm sure there is opportunity for you to jump in.

One thing I was wondering was, in your post it says

Change the theme, that one is over played if you will.

Needs more content, less videos more writing.

I would agree that you need some more writing content. I actually think it is good overall. I have never seen one that is based on parties that are going on.

I think that you picked a good niche, but I don't like the theme, like somebody else said. I think it should have more color. I like the pictures though.

I think black with something bright and vivid, possibly even neon if you pulled it off right. Maybe a bright red for some trim? I think you just need some color to give it more of a party feel.

nothing stellar, default theme.

try stylizing your theme towards your site objective if possible.

currently the blog contents are very minimal, they're just like a news / announcement site. :) perhaps more effort into the content would be the best direction for now.
