Have you ever abandoned a blog?

Doorlight asked if you have ever tried to quit blogging (http://www.theblogexperiment.com/blog-forum/showthread.php?t=211) which raises the question, have you ever abandoned a blog?

I've started lots of blogs and two of those blogs I have quit because my head just wasn't in it anymore. I continued blogging elsewhere though. That's definitely something I remind myself when I have all of these ideas to start a new blog.

Yes, I did. I had a blog on company's site and once we change to look, we just removed blogs which actually didn't get much attention.

I have had to abandon a couple of my blogs, even though they were like my babies, just because I ran out of patience. They never got much attention, so I figured that I might as well just stop, so I did.

I have a "personal" one on blogspot. Just hate it and will close it. Another one was moved on its own domain and is no longer a blog, but a normal content site

Blogging's like marriage, you gotta work at it. It takes time, you gotta stick with it, even in the tough times. You also gotta be willing to be flexible and try new things to keep it fresh...
