Hi everyone! I'm Megan - Most of you will know me from my day job - Customer Support and Admin at sitepoint.com

I can't say I have really been into blogging for a long time - but I do have a blog. It is really just my take on things I see every day. I rant and rave and there is a little philosophy thrown in there, just to make matters interesting (and to some extent weird).

Anyway, here it is -

I am not sure where I got 'Girl about the World' from...I made it up awhile ago. I am currently working on getting evil Word Press working so I can start publishing my newer idea 'Girl in the IT World: Megan in Wonderland' - which will be my view on well, more stuff, but mainly about me working in a male dominated workplace and studying at Uni. Plus I plan on 'trying' to discuss some internet related thingys....

Anyway, more about me. I am 20 years old. I am currently completing a Diploma of IT. I have a dog named Leah. I have brown hair.

Random Things:

I can think older and act younger - on a daily basis.

I tend to do a lot of crazy things.

I can be selfish.

I am hyperactive and loud.

I like reading, mainly classics.

I watch a lot of Tv and lots of movies.

I frequent many night clubs in many different states of consciousness.

I think wayyyyy to much.

Napoleon Dynamite Rocks! (and so does John Hedar)

I am hell bent on World Domination....One day.

Anyway, not sure what else to say.... So I will stop.

Napoleon Dynamite is possibly the worst movie ever made with a terrible cast, painful script and just completely awful. Honestly I'd rather be stabbed in the eyes with a fence post then see it again.

It's about this highschool kid who's at least partially retarded and the sad and pointless lives of him, his friends, his internet-bum brother and their uncle who's on the lookout for a get rich quick scheme while he's obsessing over his past glory as a football player.

The only good part about the movie is eventually it finishes!

Working for SP....hm... Well for an aspiring developer its probably the best environment, right? The people are really nice here. The work is interesting...
