Anyone know of well-known blog journal sites?
Preferably, not the poser ones. :P

I don't know of any offhand although I hear on the news that more and more celebs are starting to blog. They are lucky because they will have instant traffic to their site!

Zach Braff (http://www.zachbraff.com/) (the guy from Scrubs) has one, but that's about the only celebrity I know of who blogs and isn't a political pundit or journalist.

You can say so. He thinks so.

I used to have one that was supposedly Madonna's in my favorites, but I accidently deleted it and can't remember the site. You just never really know if it is really them.

Is this the one, trick-r-treat: Madonna's Thoughts (http://www.madonnasthoughts.blogspot.com/)
And if you're still interested, doorlight, there's a Celebrity Blogger (http://www.bloggerschoiceawards.com/categories/32) category at the Blogger's Choice Awards.

So exactly how do you tell the difference from poser/non poser? I mean just like another poster said, how can you tell who is actually posting?

From what I understand except for Mariska Hargity (who I don't have info on) all the others have assistants that do the blogging for them.

Probably the most successfull one is wilwheaton.net. He played Wesley Crusher in Star Trek, and been blogging for ages.
There was this one about a year ago which created a bit of hoohaa which was premierfootballer.me.uk. Basically, it was a blog "supposedly" written by a footballer in the Premier League. It seemed pretty legit, though he never actually said who he was.
Loved to know who it was though!

Are you sure? The Tammy Lynn Michaels one blogs about things like baby poop... Just doesn't sound very assistant-like...

I will have to check out some of the ones you listed. Doesn't Brittany write in hers from time to time? I always here how she has posted on her blog.

I'll have to check out some of these and I'll look for some more celebrity blogs. I know that Elyse Sewell from the first season of America's Next Top Model has a livejournal blog, and that's at http://elysesewell.livejournal.com/

How do you find celebrity blogs? I am assuming by just going to google and looking for them? Or do you have someone give you the links?

I found Elyse Sewell's blog through an America's Next Top Model blog. They gave the link there. I think that a lot of celebrity blogs are googled, or they advertise them themselves.

I guess Rosie O' Donnels from what I have heard is written by her and is pretty active. They just did an interview with her where she mentioned her blog.

I will have to find Rosie's blog, I find her ideas interesting, even if they are a bit "out there" sometimes.

There are tons of professional athletes blogging on Sports Rumors, Blogs, Videos, News, Discussion, Scores, Standings, Schedules (http://www.yardbarker.com) (donovan mcnabb, greg oden, ray lewis, baron davis, dontrelle willis, etc etc)
Serena Williams Official Site - Home (http://serenawilliams.com/home/) Serena williams blogs on her official site
MySpace.com Blogs - Questlove MySpace Blog - THE ?uestosphere!!!!!!!!!!! (http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.ListAll&friendID=14437053) ?uestlove of The Roots blogs on myspace
I know all of the above are legit and not posers, because they've all broken exclusive news within their posts at one point or another that got picked up by the national media. Donovan McNabb and Serena Williams especially...
