I've just signed up with Project Wonderful, which I learnt about through word of mouth.

For those who haven't heard of it, it's an advertising system that allows you to use your earnings to pay for your own adverts and has a withdrawal limit of only $10.

For those who have, and are users, what sort of results have you had so far?

It's good. I use it to buy ads I find you can get some bargains.

I wrote about it here: Project Wonderful - An Adsense Alternative? [splitbrain.org] (http://www.splitbrain.org/blog/2008-03/19-project_wonderful-an_adsense_alternative)

I'm not too convinced from a publisher's standpoint. It took me about two moths to reach the 10$ payment limit... but I'd love to hear others (success) stories.

Interesting post, thanks for sharing :)

I'm going to give it to the end of the month and see whether to keep or drop it.

I have never heard of it. Looks like I need to look it up.

Thanks for the heads up, it is new to me. Sounds kinda like Adwords and Adsense combined...

I used it on a site for about two months, earning me a little over US$6. At that time site traffic was around 1,000 pageviews a week.

I really like the community and the admin side of things is quite straight-forward. Occasionally I struggled to find the option I wanted, but it was generally user friendly.

I am not going to use it as a serious money-making endeavour although sites like Questionable Content: New comics every Monday through Friday (http://questionablecontent.net) seem to have bidding values of around US$20-25 each day: that would definitely work.

In the future I might use it as a classy alternative to entrecard: selling advertising on sites to pay for advertising on others. Unless PW has lots of bidders in your niche then I think that's the most reasonable option.

I'm not sure of its benefits so I can try it first.

I'm finding the most benefit at this stage is in the free (or nearly so) advertising.

I'm earning 30c a day on my single ad space, but then my blog is slowly growing in audience and bids are starting to get higher in the last week.

Still hanging in there. :)
