Seriously, when was the last time you clicked an Adsense link?
I think the only time I click them is when I'm at a friends site and want to throw a dime their way...

I can't remember really. I admit too, to click on friend's blogs sometimes.

Never on purpose, a few times by accident. (not just google ads)

Basically, that is why I have all but phased out adsense from my sites. Though I have to say I was getting a lot of hits but no real money. 240 hits in one day and I got 8cents Really thats absurd.

i would say this week. It doesn't happen every day but if something catched my eye, I will click!

I'm more of an impulse buyer and ordering online defeats the point, so I very rarely click on Google ads that are selling something. Most of the rest of the ads appear to be spam sites looking for clickthrus on more expensive ads.

Hmm... cannot remember. But I usually click the ads accidentally and never click it because I found something interested.

It's been at least a year.
I've taken to using adblock recently (since I already have a mental filter on ads I might as well go all the way), so i'm an evil content thief or something like that.

While watching my wife search for something online, I discovered how often she clicks on the sponsored links compared with the normal search results. To her, it really doesn't matter as long as the text catches her eye. While more "eBusiness aware" people might not simply because they are dealing with the technology details of these ads daily. Also, it's worth mentioning that she is well aware it's an advertisement. It just doesn't matter to her, she feels it is relevant to what she's looking for and treats it just the same as an unbiased result. So, even though we might not click many of them, there are millions that do.

Good points Chris...plus, this is our world. We typically don't notice them as much as people who don't do what we do.

You're right that there are probably alot of people that do click on them. But I know that there have been very few that I have wanted to click on.

I don't really click on someone's adsense. And because I know Karma's gonna happen to me thus I don't have Adsense in my blog. LOL
Can't remember ... It looks like many of us and some visitors are getting ad blindness :D

I think it was yesterday at work, was doing a "keyword analysis" report.

I don't know that I ever have, but I would. I think I am just blind to them so I don't even notice what the link says. If I took time to actually see the ad and read the description of the site/product and it was something I was interested in I would click.

HaHaHa! Gosh, I surely hope the "blue" you're referring too isn't Kentucky? I live in the middle of Wildcat Nation, but will always be a Buckeye! I lived there all my life up until college.

Yeah, you're probably right about Michigan. Didn't cross my mind. I'm so used to hearing "GO BIG BLUE" here in Lexington, KY that anytime someone say's BLUE and is referring to sports I think University of Kentucky.
I hate him even more now that I know he was talking about Michigan. :)
That's cool you lived in Cincy. I grew up about 45 minutes away from Eastgate.
Not sure about all this Huskie business though. :D

Lloyd Carr is a crybaby. He is more involved with bitching to the refs than he is coaching his team. GO ANY TEAM THAT IS PLAYING MICHIGAN! :D

I usually avoid clicking on ads because I'm nervous about picking up viruses, adware, spyware, etc. I don't even click on friend's ads anymore, because if Google gets the idea it's a "friendship" arrangement, they'll disallow the clicks.

Yesterday. Every now and then I do find something interesting in the ads and I click. Sometimes I see interesting ads on my own sites and I have to remember not to click (or the click fraud police come after me) and try to track down the landing page it would take me to.
