Just curious if you ever turn advertisers down on TLA?

Not TLA specific, but LW, so the same thing. But I have become more selective lately with ads. Early on, I would take any and everything. But after seeing a lot of other sites in my niche get penalized with PR and such, I have backed off a bit. I will accept most, but if the ad is real spammy or otherwise not something I'd really want to see on my site, I'll turn it down.

Yeah, that's kind of how I am right now... accepting any ad.

I actually got a notification the other day for LW where someone wanted to advertise on my site, but their interface seems a little confusing at first. Something messed up when I approved the ad and I never got the ad code to place on my site and I couldn't figure out how to get this ad code again after the fact of it being accepted so I just canceled the ad.

I turn down people regularly on TLA. The bad thing though is if you don't approve or disapprove an ad within 24 hours, the editors approve it for you; so you have to be good. Currently I have a Hannah Montana ad on one of my blogs that just doesn't fit there!!!

So far the only ads I have on my sites are hosting ads and one site selling some kind of web related product. So I guess technically they are related to my blog.

I turn anything down if it's not related to the site. The annoying thing is I have sites covering various subjects and most ads could fit on another site but there's no way of really pointing that out.

You guys get the opportunity to turn down? :P

I'm desperately waiting for new TLA ads to come but so far I've only got 1 ad. :(

anyone of you using In-Links?

I guess I've been lucky in that regard. I signed up last week and have four advertisers between both of my sites.

Never heard of In-Links... just another text link network?

it's part of TLA's offerings.

I was offered this when I signed up many months back. now it's like 6 months or more and I'm still stuck with the same ad. :) Well, i do hope to get more.

Oh goldfries... I tried in links on one site and never got a single ad after a few months. I asked to disenroll and then I enrolled the site in the regular ads and now all of my ad spots are sold.

Well I'll know if they tell me about In Links to say "NO" :)

Yes, definitely Deron. I haven't come across someone yet who had any luck with it.
