I just got my first visit through Jaiku! I'm happy about that, because I like Jaiku and would hate to think that I'm wasting my time by using it. I was wondering if any of you use Jaiku/Pownce/Twitter, etc., for promoting your blogs, and if it works for you.

I've never heard of Jaiku and will have to check it out after this post. I have a pownce account but haven't used it at all. About a week ago I finally got a twitter account but i really haven't been using it much I'm afraid.

I used to have a Twitter too but it seems like I don't update it regularly so might as well just drop it. Haha!

Seems that Steve Rubel (http://steverubel.typepad.com/about.html) of Micro Persuasion fame may agree with you. Micro blogging (http://www.micropersuasion.com/2007/07/when-less-is-mo.html) is on the increase.

I am considering setting up a MySpace page with Twitter, Jaiku and MeeboMe on it for instant, live, real-time conversations with other bloggers.

I've been reading Steve's blog for about 18 months or so. It's really interesting. He has 40,000+ subscribers.
