If I could make this for other browsers I'd give it a shot. Firefox users are by far in the majority so I have made the TBE Menu Bar: http://www.theblogexperiment.com/firefox/tbetoolbar.xpi
You can see what it looks like below. As the community grows and more sections become available I will update it.
UPDATE For some reason clicking the link doesn't work so copy and paste the link into the toolbar. It should install automatically. If it doesn't, save it to your computer and then open it with firefox.

I cannot get the link to work, it just opens a new tab and nothing happens. :)

I got it by choosing save link as and downloading it to my comp first then executing it. Seems cool, it is nice and small does not create more space in the browser and gives me good access to the various sections of the site. :)

Yeah I considered making a toolbar but i have enough of those so I didn't want to take up anymore space.

Now for some more observations. It seems the Home Page and the Forum links go to the same page the forums home page. How about changing one to the user CP link instead?

That is nice, Sara. Too bad I'll have to wait for an Opera version.

I rarely use Opera (only for testing purposes), are they called extensions in Opera too? I can start reading up on them.

Extensions, toolbars, widgets. There's no real official name, though the Dev Team likes to call them widgets for some reason.
