I've been working on a couple of sites recently and one in particular could use some feedback I think. I went with a semi-transparent png for the background of the sidebar but rather than delivering it to IE7 alone (as well as firefox etc..) I just decided to skip IE entirely - avoiding the problem with older versions.

I'm using a laptop too so could really use some feedback regarding legibility of the body copy as it has no background. It is currently just in HTML & CSS format as I have not finished yet.

Looks good to me. Had a quick look in FF and IE 6 on XP, looks good in both. Even had a brief look on the iPhone, it works well there too.

Wow. I like it a lot. Very nice.

The text has sufficient contrast from the background that it is legible. The only thing I would have to say is to add a little padding on the right hand side of the themes header (where the RSS subscribe buttons are).

Yeah, my feelings too - I couldn't quite put my finger on it either which is why I mentioned it being incomplete. I have a few things still in mind to finish it off, thanks for the feedback Dan :)

Overall, very nice, very clean and original. There are only a few color issues that poke out at me. They are subtle but from a design sense, they ask for a little massaging.

The subscription top bar seems out of place. The color doesn't feel like the rest of the site. I think if you pull a shade out of your header image, you will in solid shape.

The red for the bullets and dates is pretty bright. Something about it seems like an after thought. It doesn't look bad but a slightly different shade would hel ptie it together perfectly.

Very nice :) I really like the colors. And the way you made that headers with flash is nice too :)

But I think the menu on the right top of the page is missing something... maybe add a nice hover effect? ;)
