New to blogging, any critiques on my blog?

Hey everybody,

I'm new to the world of blogging and just recently put up a blog to write about my pseudo addiction to jiu-jitsu. I am a web designer who has oddly never messed with WordPress until I decided to put up http://www.chew-jitsu.com. Let me know what you think.

Google ads in left sidebar goes to the footer on about page. You might want to fix that out.

The logo really is awesome, and very unique so great job on that. I love the set up, very clean and fresh. The ads are clean looking too. I like your color scheme too. There's really nothing that I would recommend that you fix.

Thanks Jewel, I appreciate the compliments. Im trying to run the blog without an inundation of ads but we all need a little extra support sometimes.
