Hello all. Been a bit busy setting up a new site to sell some exceptionally handy software if you sell eBooks or software online. Am sure you've seen those 3D graphical covers, I now sell a suite of action scripts for Photoshop 6+ that can make the effort needed minimal, literally 3 clicks (plus adding your own text, photos/design) and you're done.

Anyway, the site, if you want to know more (sorry for the cheesey sales page!) is at DIY Covers (http://www.diycovers.com) however, my less cheesey sales page and my own examples are at Announcing DIY Covers (http://www.stuffbysarah.net/ais/2008/02/09/announcing-diy-covers/) plus, if you are interested then go to the bottom of my own blog post and you'll save $30 off the real price for a limited time (so $67 instead of $97). There are also 300+ decent looking professional templates available for $15 extra (available once the actions have been purchased).

If you're not interested but fancy stumbling/deliciousing/digging either site then that would always be welcomed too ;)

I second the "cheesy sales page" ;)

That besides, I think that it's a pretty decent idea - especially for those not familiar with Photoshop and Actions specifically.

Unfortunately/apparently that type of page works. I can understand why and how, but that's why I'm directing most people to my own, hopefully less cheesy sales patter ;)

Yeah I think those sales pages work on people who aren't in our industry. We are too quick to click and move on. Good luck with this though Sarah!

Thanks Sara. I'm hoping once we can start getting people signing up as affiliates and doing their own sales patter then they'll put their own spin and personality into their sales page, something their own visitors will already like.

Plus it should be a nice affiliate percentage.

Cheers James :)

The business venture is between 3 of us so if it was me I would honestly drop that page and do something much better, but then again, one of the 3 is someone who makes a fulltime wage with his sites so I'll go by his experience on this one! You know you love it really ;)

We're now offering an affiliate scheme on this. You can either use a hop link (like clickbank) to link through to our sales page, or you can create your own page and use a direct buy button.

We've also created a review pack which has 1 eBook action in along with the tutorials and a crash course on eCovers, so that you can try it out for yourself. Reviews are also welcome.

The affiliate payout is 50% so $48.50 (roughly as the paypal price is in GBP) so not a bad payout for you ;)

Anyone interested, drop me a PM with your email address so that I can email the affiliate invite to. Note, the review pack is only available to signed up affiliates at present.

Oh and we just made our first sale :D
