What's your post to comment ratio? Right now mine shows 10 posts and 9 comments. Do you normally have more posts than comments or will this improve?

It should improve over time, but if you are looking to generate discussion on your site you will want to see more comments than posts. It took me a long time to reach that point! Now my ratio is 252 posts and 891 comments 3.5 comments per post.

It was really just within the past few months that I started to pull away from the 1:1 ratio.

583:6235 , post to comment ratio or about a 1:10.69 ratio but like Jeremy says, it takes awhile to get there. You have to build up a readership. And there will be a post or two that'll really catch on where you get over 100 comments on one post. It also depends on whether you close comments after a certain period of time. I still get real, valid, quality comments on old posts. I almost never close comments. (my spam filtering is good so no worries there)

I have no idea what my ratio is but I have WAY more posts than comments. That's probably a good thing actually, considering all I write about is myself.

What a cute thread! Haha, lemme check mine... 38:326, that's like 9 comments each post. Well I think it's not bad for me especially when I just switched to this domain, I still managed to build up my readership again in this blog. :)
