What is the one thing that you did for your blog that made it stand out?
or what one thing are you most proud of?

Wrote my Ask Me script. Seriously. I wrote it and for a year and a half people asked for it and when i turned it into a plugin, it's been even better. over 2700 downloads of it so far.

If you ask me... Well I do have a story to share here, first of all I am a victim of identity theft. Someone sponsored a domain name for me and I have been using that domain to blog for quite a long time until we had a little disagreement and she somewhat sold the domain to someone else who is using my identity to blog about his "extreme" gay sex life.
I bought a new domain myself which is Goodboygonebad.com and at first i was so depressed because I couldn't believe that she's doing this to me! And also, I have to start all over again because many of my friends do not know that the previous site does not belong to me anymore. And I feel proud because now it's growing and people start to notice my new blog.
Keyword? Determination.

Yeah it really sucks because till now , he is still blogging with my identity and there's nothing much i can do because legally he owns the website. So what I did was I focus on my new blog, knowing that there's no point to retaliate or react to it, one of these days people will realize that it's not me anyway. :)

Wow Cedric! That's a hell of a story. I can't believe a friend would do such thing. Shame on her.

She was quite a prominent blogger in my country and she was the one guiding me alot. But it's okay, I believe I can start something new over here, I'm glad to have known you people. At least not everyone is crazy huh? LOL
Obviously the thing I'm most proud of is writing my own CMS.

Got lucky! Well, I guess it was a decent article. I wrote "Why Software Sucks (http://www.compiledmonkey.com/why-software-sucks)" and found that it had been picked up on the front page of OSNews.com. As you can imagine, my traffic soared for the next few days and I received tons of feedback through the comment system. That was probably the greatest thing that happened to my blog.

That is definitely a great news, I hope I could blog about something really breakthrough and someone decided to talk about it. Cheers dude!

Hmm..... choosing a clean and nice theme for my blog? Does it count on this topic, hehe
Not writing "stock" content. I just hate reading news from yahoo or seeing links to youtube movies or any other way to artificially increase content. The best thing I can do is to work on my own on the content and try to provide something interesting or at least unique. I think 5 years of web design can give me some ideas for topics :D

same here dojo. same here.
i hate it when i see blogs that claim to be tech / review / guide blogs but posting personal stuff. it's like WTH!?!?! it's like the writer ran out of topic to blog and decide to post something that's off topic.
