Opt in box in wordpress

Does anyone know if I can add an optin box on my free wordpress blog. If yes, how do I do it.

If you use Feedburner you can have people sign up for your feeds. Is that what you mean by placing an opt-in box on your blog?

One of the ways to build a list is to have a little box set up on your blog or webpage where you invite persons to sign up to receive any additional information you would like to send them.

I guess the RSS could work, but I would prefer to have a contact name and email address.
