View Full Version : How do I create 125x125 ads in my sidebar?
OK, I know I'm a little behind the times but I want to put 125x125 squares in my sidebar. I have enough room to have 2 or 3 beside each other. I would like to stick these in a sidebar widget. Any suggestions on the best way to go about this. I did have the TLA plugin but I deleted it after the page rank debacle of last fall. I think I could also just use html in between the code for each square to align and space them. But I'm not sure what code would work best either. A plugin or an example of easy code would be most appreciated. Thanks, Emma

Hey Emma, the best bet might be to do it yourself. The easiest way to do it would be to just link from an image to your advertisers/affiliate's site:
<a class="ad" href="yousite.html" title="whatever" ><img src="yourimage.gif" alt="whatever" /></a>
Then you can style the class "ad" by adding padding or margin as appropriate.
I figured I was going to have to create some code. Thanks Sara.

You might want to also check out wp-Ads if you want to do multiple ads or make it simple to change them out.

I've just started experimenting with Project Wonderful which handles ad sales and has 125x125 amongst other options.

Thanks Chrispian, I'll check out WPAds theSandbox.
indietravel I've been using project wonderful for awhile now. I've left my bidding at zero and I've made a little over 5$, it does seem to have some potential.
