Do you laugh at it now? Did you try to make it funny as an intro to your blog?
I know I was thinking about it for days before I actually wrote it.
So did you just wrote it in 5 minutes or you thought about it for long time?

My first post was a dedication to my aunt who passed away. She was having cancer and the reason why I wanna start blogging is because I wanna let people know how I feel when I knew she had cancer.

You can't find it in goodboygonebad.com though, it's in my old blog. =)

That's a great reason... I'm afraid my reason isn't so inspiring... I just wanted to try it out :p
But yes, I remember my first blog post, but I didn't stew over it for a while. I think typically first blog posts should try to set the tone for the blog.

I wrote it in about 3 minutes just to make sure MovableType worked, then I went out of town for the weekend. 6 comments when I came back :|

That's a hard question. I can't remember. My first blog entry was dated eight years ago. YAY!

Ugh! My first blog post was a recap of a baseball game, back in 2003 or 2004, when I was trying to blog without a blogging platform, by manually updating and uploading my HTML every day. Archiving was just a (expletive deleted) load of fun!
Mine was:
Hmmmmm. Just another blog huh? Well, I guess there’s no denying that. Hang fire while I go out and do something interesting. Prepare to be blown away.
Apparently it was thought provoking enough to illicit a comment from the great Stymiee, who has apparently only commented 5 times in his entire life.

UMM, it depends on what you consider a blog, back in the day I used to write daily site updates, does that count?

Yes I remember it and I can say that I make a lot of mistake in grammar and sentences. Well, I can feel that I improved a lot. ;)
A stupid introductory post. I wished I was able to say my style improved, but I am tired, not crazy ... so .. it's the same :(

In a sense I was blogging long before they called it blogging. My first was back in 1995 about events in happening with my entertaiment company.

I haven't written my first post yet, but I'm going to try to make it an intro to myself and I've been thinking about it for the past couple of days...so hopefully it will be good.

My first official blog post (March 13, '04) was all about the then-new Victorinox USB Swiss Army Knife (http://www.2dolphins.com/2004/03/usb-swiss-army-knife.html). Kinduva silly first post, but I was testing the waters and thought it was a cool tech tidbit to share.
