I have just finished changing my theme and i now need your comments.

I must say i am very pleased with it, it's a magazine style theme HOWEVER i have not employed it for this blog, instead it looks like another 2 column blog but the backend is quite powerful that will allow me to change my blog from a normal blog layout to magazine style or lists style in a jiffy.

I'm using custom fields this time around to accomplish certain things on the blog.

It is still a work in progress but the main things are already done,also this time i choose for a text version to show my RSS subscribers count instead of the normal Feedburner chicklet, i knew a couple of people who absolutely hated that BIG chiclet i had in the previous theme :P

Basically i need your comments, was the previous theme better? what can i do to improve this theme, etc.

I like it. It's very clean and simple and has accent on the content.

The footer... I like it aesthetically, but I'm not sure if visitors actually look around it and use it? It's too big for me and too far away :)

Thanks Jelena, yes i agree with the footer, almost like info overload, but i need it for the future, things like guest bloggers, videos and such coming up for next year.

I really like it Moses but I do think maybe you've gone a little chiklet crazy! Also, I can't stand it when links to the comments are only at the top of a post. This is more a personal preference for me. If you are going to have it at the top, maybe offer it at the bottom. If you show a full post on your home page and I scroll down to the bottom and read it all, i don't want to have to scroll back up.

I really like the new theme it's a definite improvement on the odd version. I've got a couple of comments though... ;)

I agree with Sara about the link to the comments only being at the top. Particularly with the length of the current first post....

Not sure if the background on your feed subscribers section is supplied with the plug in but I'd consider making it fit in with your colour scheme.

The text in the DOMTab part of the sidebar is a little bigger than the rest of the text. It makes it look a bit odd.

Also you might want to check that you can include the DOMTab in a premium theme. I don't know if there might be a licensing issue there.

Ditto!, Thanks, no the background was my own and not a plugin issue.

You are correct about the DOMTab license, WPdesigner brought it to my attention a few weeks ago.

I am a rookie blogger and I did not see you original blog but I think this one is good. Lots of good info there but you know, I am thinking of starting a group for wordpress junkies, like wordpress anonymous for your serious wordpress people!! LOL I guess I would have to join the group though, cuz I have switched to WP too!! Good job on the blog.
