This is my cat, he extends a greeting to you all. He doesn't have a blog yet but after he wakes up he might make one, I try not to pressure him though.

You are quite the photographer and I just bet your cat loves the flash in your camera!

If you look on his tail you'll see a dark patch. The other day the genius got outside and came home with motor grease all over him. Then I got to shampoo him in the shower and that's how I got this scratch:

Thanks! He loves pretty much everything. As is typical with cats he feels the world and everything in it exists specifically to amuse or feed him.

Good luck at getting all that grease out. I had a white cat once who took years to get rid of a greasy tail! Finally, the genius got it cut off somehow or other. :(

"somehow".... I'm not calling you a psycho, just pointing out this is all very, very suspicious.

But in other news, that would solve the problem + prevent it from happening again. And I probably have a knife in my kitchen somewhere....

Don't get any ideas. Casper was deaf, had one blue eye and one green eye, and was probably slightly retarded (or should I say developmentally disabled?). We figure he got caught somewhere he couldn't get out of and pulled it off, got under the hood of someone's car before they started it, or got run over by a lawnmower somewhere.

This is an old picture, probably taken sometime around 1970. I think you can see the grease.

Nice. I used to have a big black fluffy one like that that was also "developmentally disabled", but a great cat nonetheless. He got lost many, many times but always managed to keep his tail.

My mother and sisters have been doing that 'lolcat' stuff IN PERSON for so many years I just think it's all terribly sad. Oh, and that anyone participating should be shot. :D

When my cats were younger they'd climb up my body like that but after smacking them around a little they gave up and started using the elevator instead.

Nice shot Jeremy.

The little bugger looks so happy to be climbing! (Movin on up!) He's even smiling!

Your cat is really cool...I must take a photo of mine and my doggy to show around :) In fact, I may do that later on tonight...I wonder if I can get my cat to jump on me :D

A friend of mine once bet me that I couldn't stare down her kitten. Taking up the challenge, I planted myself firmly in front of it. I didn't know that staring is a sign of aggression to a cat, so when my eyes needed to blink, I barked. "Woof!"

That was the last straw for the kitten and it jumped straight onto my head!

Hope this helps: :D

:D My friends cat jumped at my head once - I don't know why - it attacks my hair to. My cats are very placid! I will use the staring technique though :D I have a feeling some really funny (embarrassing) photos will come of this lil experiment.
