I regularly read the blog about blogging blogs and I get so tired of seeing the same topics regurgitated over and over again. What are some topics you get tired of seeing repeatedly?

I find blogs about blogging are too common and they somehow seem to be the next fastest growing blog niche after Making Money Online, which so happens to be related to blogging.

^ Yep, pretty much. Just reading the subject, I immediately thought "how to make easy money blogging/online."

Ja, me too, there's so many make money online blogs with more or less the same content that you start wondering what's new.

I add my vote. (Should have had a poll about this one!) I have been tired of Internet get rich quick schemes before blogs were invented and making money from blogs is just one more thorn in this flower's side.

I'm always interested in reading about a lot of those topics, but only from credible sources.

When you're topic is "How I went from $200 to $2000/month" and all you do is say "It's easy, I just joined Super Affiliate Amazing Rich-Money Program" with an affiliate link, I'm not interested.

Good point Colin. I think a lot of us would be interested in these very topics if things were spelled out to us and we got to see exactly what people did. unfortunately, no one does that.

I can't same I dislike 'get rich quick blogs', partly because I run one.
But there are very few of a good standard, mostly seo optimised rubbish, hence why they are seen everywhere. I only subscribe to a small handful, as that's all I need. There content is fresh and appealing to me and my plans.

Topics I hate are the
"'x' things you need to read/know"
Especially if its just a list with no opinion or reasoning.

Martyn.

I never really tend to get sick of seeing any specific type of topic. Obviously those advertising type topics which offer rediculous promises that are false.

Other than those, I have no problem with any topics; everyone has a different take on most topics and the difference in opinions are generally interesting to read.

Sometimes I get a little tired of seeing 500 bloggers comment on whatever Seth Godin said that day, but whatever.

yes, same for scoble or john gruber or any blogging celebrity

I also can't stand list posts (i.e. "top 125 social networking sites", "top 50 css techniques", etc). It's stupid digg-bait filler material, usually with very little original work put in by the author aside from deciding which way to order their list items.

Blogging about fast money or blogs gets pretty old.

I'm guilty of doing that once in awhile, but generally I try to blog about personal experiences related to search, ecommerce, and all around internet marketing (not just blogs).

Speaking of which, a speaker on a session panel at pubcon just visited my blog after I ripped on the session a little bit. ack *hides under the desk*.

Be it redundant or not I encourage everyone to blog. Thing is usually survival of the fittest rule takes care of things. Brutal but effective.

I am utterly sick of all of the following - they usually have a number in the headline too (3 things you need to know about . . ., 7 ways . . . to etc etc etc.)

How to be happy everywhere forever

Louise Hay/everything is perfect now schtick

You can be healthy / enlightened / a millionaire all at once

Goal setting

Overcoming procrastination

Discipline

There are more!

Powerful statement there. Have the mighty fallen because other people realized how easy it is to do or have they fallen simply because so many people "claim" to do what they can do?

They have fallen because the same advice is just repeated over and over. Others pretty soon get the idea.

I've seen blogs that were good or have the potential to be good fall prey to emulating things like this because they think they'll get more readers this way. Also blogging before it came to this point was original and people did it because they had a reason to do it.

Now people do it for money and without any other reason to post, that's the best they can come up with.

Pretty much the same thing as everyone else. It wouldn't be so bad if anyone had anything original to say, but no one does anymore.
